Lexus dealer tried to trick me in brake job
Today I went to Lexus dealer for warranty repair. Before the 'advicer' ordered the repair work, he told me that my break pad only has 1mm in the front and 3mm at the back. I told him that I just rorated the tire two weeks ago and there was at least 5mm for both front and back. The advicer just said 'Oh, is it?' then started ordering the task without saying anything more.
I am sure they didn't take the wheel down for the measurement because the job report says 'visual inspection'.

Please no spelling snobs! To the point at hand, dealerships are getting bad about this. The service department is a place to boost profit, since new car sales have seen a steep decline. If possible I would find another Lexus dealer to better yet have your service done at the local Toyota dealership.

Spelling correctly is not being snobbish, it's a part of communicating clearly and concisely, especially when homophones (two words that are pronounced identically but are spelled differently) are involved. When I saw a post about a "break job" I thought the poster wanted help escaping from prison.

Actually, to be correct, your sentence should be phrased: "(......) who think it's OK to spell incorrectly." This is because "it is" is contracted as "it's" (with an apostrophe) and because you are trying to state that they spell incorrectly, not that they don't spell.
