Default 2007 RX350 Car Accident

On February 18, 2011, my passenger and I got into a car accident. I was pulling out of a side spot and the lady in a 2000 MB M-Klasse SUV sped up and t-boned me. My RX350 rolled over twice, but my passenger and I were able to climb out of the car unscathed. All the safety features worked as advertised.

Anyways, I got another Lexus, the new 2011 CT 200h and I love it. Thanks Lexus!

WTF! Glad youre ok. My wife and I just got T-boned, too. Total loss. Looking to either get another RX 350 or the CT. Where did you get yours and which one did you get? I'm looking for the basic Starfire Pearl with Black nulux but no one has them in Los Angeles.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear that you and the passenger were un-harmed!

Glad you are ok. I wasn't familiar with the CT200h, so I looked it up. There is an excellent video review of it on youtube. It's really nice looking for a hybrid. Check it out.

Hey koric! I got mine from Vista Lexus of Woodland Hills, CA. It's definitely in short supply, but talk to Larry Ellis, he'll work hard to locate one for you and get you at least $1000 off MSRP through the Lexus Loyalty Program (just make sure you have your registration for your old Lexus). I'm in Vegas this weekend so I'll take a look around at Lexus of Las Vegas or Lexus of Henderson to see what the stock is like.

Thanks for the heads up. I work in Chatsworth so Vista Lexus is pretty close. $1000 off msrp would be sweet but I thought the Lexus loyalty ended on 3/31? So how do you like the CT compared to the RX? Btw, what is the current APR for new Lexus'? To qualify for the loyalty discount, you have to finance through Lexus Financial, right?

I thought I posted pics in the first thread. Can you not see them? There's also a picture of my severed arm too. LOL. Just kidding.

Well, I'm not sure about the Lexus Loyalty Program expiring because they always end up renewing it every month anyways. The economy may be recovering slowly but Lexus still needs a push to get customers, methinks. The CT is definitely sportier, lacks the hp of a V6, but is much more sportier, less body roll than the RX, smaller cabin space, so less flexibility when it comes to hauling stuff around. Despite the smaller engine, it IS a smaller and lighter car, so there aren't any problems passing other motorists on the road. The APR I got was 4.9% because it's my first new car loan and I'm a recent college grad w/ a 6 month history on my job. No cosigner, but a damn high APR. I don't think you need to finance through Lexus Financial for the loyalty discount, but you do get some perks if you decide to get another Lexus financed in the future.

I think so. No skid marks on the road.

Thanks, Matt. Went to look at a CT at Jim Falk with the wife. Wayyy too small. Don't think a stroller would fit in the trunk. Gonna pick up another RX.

many people (read women) mistake the accelerator pedal for the brake pedal...but not all people (read women) are like that.
