Weird problem with 09' RX350!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!
Today, when I popped open my hood I noticed the positive side of my battery terminal was corroded and had a lot of bluish acid powder on it. When I unscrewed the nut to take off the terminal to clean it, the terminal broke off. So, I went to Advance Auto Parts and purchased this terminal http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...%7CGRP2005____
After installing the new terminal, I made sure everything was tight and secure. The first time I turned on the car it DID NOT start. The second time the car did start. While the car was on, the power window switches inside the car were flashing on the driver side and the passenger side. Also, the rear windows could not go down when I pressed the buttons, the fuel mileage reader on the car read 0.00 when I actually had a full tank of gas, and every time I pressed the alarm to lock/unlock the doors both blinker lights from the speedo cluster would blink. WTF!!!! What seems to be the issue here? Anyone HELP!!! PLEASE!!!

Stop messing around and take it to the dealership. Give them a call NOW!! Have it towed if necessary. Use the 800 number in your owner's manual. Your car is under warranty. This is what you are paying for when you bought a Lexus. Sit back and let them take care of everything.
More than likely it is nothing more than just a bad battery that needs to be replaced. They may even bring one out to you and install it at your house. Depends on your dealership and how far away you are.

Anytime you take the battery off-line you need to do a series of re initializations when power is restored. For the windows, go to each window and hold down the button until the window goes down and back up. For the sunroof, hold the tilt button until the sunroof tilts open, closes, moves back (open), and returns to the closed position. For the rear hatch manually open and close the hatch. There are more that I can't remember but I believe they are all in your owners manual.
In hindsight, your Lexus dealer should have cleaned and or replaced that battery terminal when serviced. It also sounds like your C-BEST settings are gone. These need to be done by your dealer.

Ok, thx guys. I will check that out and I will be going to the stealership, hopefully the battery is still under warranty. I bought the car brand new, the car currently has 30,000 miles. I don't understand why there is rust and corrosion on the battery terminal. Nowadays, they don't build the new cars to last as long as the older cars. Too many damn sensors, computers, cheap parts, this, and that. They make the easy stuff on cars so complicated! Whats next, you will need a special software to change your oil?!!!

When you found out about the battery, your 1st action should have been, call the dealer and set up an appointment.
Heck you have a brand new Lexus, let them take care of you. Replacing it was not the right move. You are under full warranty, this thing should not happen.
Lexus would have apologized, resolved the issue.
