Noisy Bridgestone Dueler Alenza
I have Bridgestone Dueler Alenza tires on my rx330. Is it me or are they NOISY? Has anyone put car tires instead of crossover/truck tires on their rx? If so, what brand and are they quieter?

How many miles are on your tires? I just got the Alenza's installed today on my wife's rx350 and I think they are just as quiet as the oem mich the car came with. I've read some posts where people complained about noise after 30,000+ miles but not before that. Btw, the oem's on her car were shot after 21,000

You'll be glad you have the Alenzas on when the snow starts falling. They are awesome in the white stuff and will last longer than the OE tires. Mine were replaced at 16K. And I never had a noise problem, with the stereo cranked

There is about 12K on them. I noticed it before my wife but after we came back from a long trip she noticed it also. I'm use to riding on Michelins and don't mind paying extra for quiet.

OK, kidding aside, what do you have your tire pressure at? I kept mine around 34 PSI, never below 33. Or it may be something other than the tires.

I know a few people have liked the Yokohamas. Tire Rack can also give you some solid alternatives. Definitely stay away from Goodyear. Good luck.

I've got 35k on my set of Alenzas and they are still very quiet. Quieter then either my Goodyears or Michelins. Much better handling too, IMO. I keep the pressure around 32psi. After 35k I still have 9/32 tread depth.

I managed about 34K out of the Alenzas in mostly city driving before I went with the OE Michelins. I could have gotten a little more out of them but winter was coming. It was also 3 months before my 450h came in. I didn't want to take a chance.

Bridgestone Dueler - 2nd pair
I just bought my 2nd set of Duelers for my 2007 RX350. The first set lasted 67,000 miles and aside from my mechanic telling me it was time for a change, I didn't notice much deterioration in performance. With that said - and with the new tires on - I have noticed a much smoother and quieter ride with new tires, fresh balance and new alignment.
I live outside of Chicago and these tires work great in snow. I can easily start from a stoplight with no spinning (probably has as much to do with AWD as the tires) and the tires hold great in the snowy corners as well. My mechanic recommended the Assurance CS Fuel Max, but some reviews complained about the noise, so at the end of the day, I stayed with what worked for me for the last 67,000 miles.

Fuller Alenza Plus
Just got some Dueler Alenza Plus'sfor the tread rating/durability. Definitely louder than the Michelin MXV4's. Overall happy but definitely louder.
