Hello,my wife was driving 04 rx 330 and the engine stalled ,after replacing an oxygen sensor,i donot know how it happened but she managed to put back the transmission bach to park while moving slowly,she heard few clicks before the car stopped completely.
first,is that going to harm the transmission,car is shifting ok now.
second,the engine rpm is to start around 1,when the engine gets warm it has tendency to shut off unless you push the gas peddle.

B1S1 was replced according to the code.

as for the transmission-what breaks is a solenoid pin inside that locks the transmission from moving. the problem is if this breaks -most likely the transmission will have to be taken apart and the dealer would most likely tell you need a new one-when a transmission repair shop can do th repair.

as for it turning off -you need to check various things-vaccum leaks in the intake, the replace o2 not screw on right or plugged right, a dirty throttle body, dirty air cleaner, or dirty fuel injectors. Double check to see if you have any other codes coming out after you reset the computer. if you dont have any, run some fuel injector cleaner in your tank. if that improves, then I would take it to a shop and have a proffessional fuel sytem cleanning done. a bad o2 sensor means your fuel mixture was not right during the failed o2 sensor. so this will cause many things to get fouled up (injectors, throttle body, spark plugs,etc,.)
