I need help choosing a paint number (Different codes)
hey Guys,
My mom got into an accident and I need to get a new pumper painted and installed on the car. When I went to buy the paint, the guy said there were three codes that showed up for my car: (the car is Savannah Metallic)
4r4
4r4a
4r4b
and then he did this 'taking a sample' by scanning different parts of the body and got this number:
26356 - There is no way of telling if it's any of the ones above.
So what would you all recommend? Does anyone know the difference between the stock colors? is either one spacific for bumpers or plastic? or should I stick with the 'custom' color?
any thoughts would be helpful

What year is the car?
Also, Paint suppliers use the VIN to ID your color, that's the safest thing to do.
Good luck.

the car will look stupid if you only paint the bumper, it would be wise to have a body shop blend the color in the hood and fenders (assuming is the front). the factory paint will have faded a little, making it difficult to match

I agree with Kiwi, make sure you ask the body shop to blend hood and fenders otherwise the newly painted bumper will stick out to be an eye sore and it will look so out of place.
