Key Fob Battery?

Reminder that these batteries are toxic waste. Please do not throw them in the trash. Take them to a place like Best Buy or check around in your area for a place where you can drop off batteries containing lithium or any rechargeable type battery at a minimum.

Indeed. Around where I am, Radio Shack accepts those used batteries.

single cell lithium batteries contain no hazardous waste, and can be safely thrown away in the trash.
Even multicell lithium batteries, like in your computer, contain no hazardous waste--but they are a fire hazzard unless they have an internal discharge circuit.
I think you are confusing these keyfob batteries with mercury or NiCad batteries, that do need to be recycled.
