Let's see, the "Platinum" warranty wouldn't cover the headlights or the luggage cover? Wonder what would, the "Super Duper Diamond Platinum" warranty?
In any case, (if you're still looking at used RX's) besides the headlights, and the cargo cover problem which is new to me, make sure you check the wheels for deterioration of the finish (paint flaking, bubbling, blistering), and if it has a luggage rack, make sure both crossbars release properly. I'm sure neither of these would be covered under Lexus extended warranties either.
