24 hour gas stations between Toronto and Key Largo
Hello All,
I'm planning a June trip to dive with Conch Republic Divers, in Florida.
My question to all members is about 24 hour gas stations. I've attached the route that I'll be taking. Typically I leave Toronto at 4am so getting gas is not a problem. However for this trip I will be Toronto at 10pm and really don't want to run out of gas. My major area of concern is through VA and WV, I know the other states have 24 hour gas stations. It would be rather lonely running out of gas somewhere in the mountains without cell signal
If I may get any gas stations along this route that will be open during the wee hours. Hopefully someone has these addresses saved on their GPS.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

You should be able to cover a leg without filling up on a 24 hr station. Just make sure you fill up before the DRY counties.

The RX typically has a cruising range of 390 miles and your route is mostly turnpikes and interstates. Finding gas at any hour should be no problem, especially using the truck stops.

Truck stops like Petro are abundant in the states and are open 24x7 all year. You will have no problem finding open gas station along interstates.

You also should have continuous cellular telephone coverage (with major cellular companies like AT&T, Verizon) on the interstates. I agree with previous posters that finding 24 hour gas stations on interstates should not be any problem. I do the Wash. DC to So FL route several times a year.

I have traveled numerous times between FL to PA and back over the years on non-stop trips using much of your same route. Never had a problem finding a gas station in the middle of the night. Just keep in mind that the larger cities on the route will be your best bets and do not hesitate to fill up even if you do not need it. I usually found a place to stop around 10-11PM for a break and a snack, filled up with gas and was good until morning.
Also, fill up before you get to WV. You can fill up again once past. And, I think you should consider avoiding that whole US19 bit through WV if at night. Take a closer look.
