I recently purchased a used 2006 RX400h. A colleague also has a 2006 RX400h. However, his has a "hybrid" badge under his regular "RX400h" badge on the rear door. The lettering is in script. I understand this was a dealer-installed item and most RX's don't have them.

Q: Where can I buy one?

why not get the 09 blue L badge and door molding to turn your 06 more into a 09 look ?

That blue L badge is looking nice....I wonder how much that is. It is easy to replace, too. It is just held on by a double sided tape.

yea and those door molding with Hybrid written on them should be easy to get too, and the 2 would give you an up to date look except for the front foglight which has changed since 2006.

Hybrid badge are easy to find, get the Ford Escape Hybrid emblem, it's nice and easy to go on, or ebay has the Toyota Synergy drive system blue wavy stripe on silver badge for a small fee. It's whatever floats your boat, just don't over do it, then it cheapens the whole car.

I was @ dealer today and asked about that L blue emblem.
Yes , they have it at dealer ( for order only) price @267 dollars plus tax.

For Spare key
No No you don't have to pay $250 for spare key
This is what I did
Find out from service dept how much they charge to cut a key ( mine cost $45 for 2, get your salesman to hook you up for programing the master key
(it's usually 5-10mins and free )
Once you have both confirm then
Goto ebay and buy a blank master key for $49.90

Take it to your dealer, have them cut and program, even if they charge you
$45 to cut 1 key, you are still saving over $150 to get a master key with full function and not a spare key, this works for from 04-07 RX according to the
ebay seller.

For Nav disc
Nav upgrade is optional, and you'll loose the Override feature, does it really have that much update for your particular area, I saw on a classified in this forum for buying pre-own disc at fraction of the cost. Save some money for
better stuff like Ipod video adapter.

For the Blue badge
Well it's still kind of new I suggest waiting for a bit, wait for all the ebay seller
to have it before dropping $250 for the badge is that for 2 badge front and back ? you also need the color matching door molding that have Hybrid letters
on the door molding to match your RX, so I would wait until it's more readily available.

For Hybrid Emblem
Go on ebay, they have tons of Hybrid emblems for sale
