Gold Lettering on RX350

Out of Warranty
No, it's a dealer option. What they do is replace the stock chrome badging with similar items with gold-anodized pieces - for a cost of something like $300-$400. That usually gets you the "L" badges, model designation, and four hub plugs in gold. A little pricey for me, but I confess I do like them on white cars. The "Gold Package" probably should include a gold tooth for the owner, but . . . whatever floats your boat . . .

yeah I think it looks kind of guady and it ruins a true luxury cars image. Kind of like people who buy a Mercedes and replace the hood ornament with a huge grill one. We also own a Mercedes and would never do that. We actually took of the the rear numbering E350; had the dealer remove it. I feel people who do that just try to get attention and its not really classy its kind of similair to buying a suit and keeping the tags on it so everyone knows what brand it from. The black ones are nice though I saw it on Lexus sedan not sure what model though, I think it was also a coach or something.
