I don't know what it is, just the platinum time mirrorish stuff that isn't gold. Anyone know how much it costs to change from gold lettering to whatever the other colorling is? I've asked about a million questions on here and have had them all answered, thanks to everyone who's replied.

bob, I had the gold emblems on my pearl white SC3 changed to the silver/chrome badging not too long ago. It cost me around $100 from my dealership but i heard that u can get them for $80. The only stock LEXUS emblem colors that i know of are: gold, silver/chrome, and black pearl. When i put the chrome/silver emblems on my car, i changed the whole appearance for the best. It took off at least 4 yrs. of its age (eventhough most people at my school thought i drove a 98-00 Lexus w/ the gold emblems). I'm assuming that u r changing them. If so, I would take it to a body shop and get them to fill in the rear LEXUS badge holes, and mabye the SC300/400 holes. I wish i had done this, for looks, and i wouldn't have had to buy all the emblems. Anyways, hope this answered ur question, and tell us how it turns out.
