Advice plse on tires and wheel sizes for new RX350
Folks, if anyone can offer tire and wheel advice I would appreciate it. This forum which I have just joined is great for all kinds of info. Haven't taken delivery of the new RX350 with Premium package and I am wondering:
1) Apart from aesthetics is there a good reason to spend the extra $650 (CDN)it will cost to put on 18" wheels? are there improvements in ride or performance that justify it?
2) Can anyone recommend a good winter tire for ice and snow for use with eithe r 17" or 18"
3)Alloy wheels for winter are expensive - but you never see anyone with steel rims on an RX300 series - is there a reason not to save money on the rims that way? Given the damage to alloys to be expected from winter use...
