Thundercloud Edition Grill
FYI - I just received price quote from my dealer that the cost for this RX330 Thundercloud Edition front radiator grill is $590.58, plus tax and installation. The part number is PZ327-48022.

I installed mine in 10 minutes with a socket wrench and a Phillips head screwdriver (for the center "L," which has to be moved from the original grill to the new one), and it only took that long because I was really going slow.
You would be paying almost double at that rate quoted by your dealer, which might be fine for something complex or difficult to install, but this is the easiest change to a car I've ever made.
If you open the hood and look at the four or five bolts that hold the grill in place, you will see how easy it is to replace.
At $300.00 it's already pretty expensive for a subtle, cosmetic change; at $600 you really start to wonder if it's just stupid, even though it does look pretty nice.

Thanks. I think it adds an elegant look to the car (and it matches the grille on my SC).
On the other hand, for $600 I don't think I would have made the change.
As for the eBay sales, be careful. There are some aftermarket grilles out there that are designed to be painted. I'd stick with the Lexus Thundercloud edition part, which is a perfect fit, of course, and looks like chrome (although it's just plastic).

OMG! Look what I've found for the Thundercloud edition grille. I wish my RX350 comes with this or at least more chrome treatment.
lexus-part.com, $433.46
l-tunedparts.com, $329.00
my dealer (in MA), $590.58
eBay, found nothing

bought mine from l tunedparts.com, for 329.00 it took 7 days to be shipped to Virginia. VERY easy to install. it took bout umm.....8 minutes to do. it took me longer to find my socket wrench than it did to install.

Sorry to drudge up another old thread, but I figured it was better than starting a new one.
I knew I'd be trouble when I followed a link from here to l-tunedparts.com, and seeing that grille confirmed it. I just pulled the 'order' trigger and am excited about this one. The OEM 350 grille was one item I really didn't like anyway, so even though $329 is a little pricey, it was a pretty easy decision. Heck, it was even ok'd by the wife.

Indirectly, yes, but not 100%. I went ahead and clicked 'order' since the website states a parts rep will contact me directly within 48 hours. They list it for the '07, and I've been told there's no difference between the two.
So, good point, and I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow or Thursday. I'll be bummed if it doesn't fit but I can't imagine there being a difference in grille openings.
