question about options on 2004 RX330
Looking for a 2004 RX330 for my GF, found a Black/Tan with Navigation that she wants, its $33,600 with 27k miles.
If it has the Navigation, does it automatically have Mark Levinson sound?
Are there any other factory installed options that I need to be aware of or should this vehicle have it all if it has the Nav package already installed?
Also, are the roof rails easily removed?

May or may have the ML sound?
You can see if it has the sport suspension package on there too? If it does it will have a switch by the seat heaters to manually lower or raise the suspension--although it does do it automatically. If it has the Sports Pkg it will also have the Auto tap shift down on the gear selector too along with nice polished 18" rims--differant color than the standard rims.

No, Nav doesn't automatically mean ML sound, although many of the 2004's were sold that way. Nav also doesn't imply "fully loaded".
There were 5 main package offerings on the 2004:
- Premium
- Premium Plus
- Navigation
- Performance
- Multi-Panel Moonroof
Premium doesn't include much. Premium Plus includes such things as the wood steering wheel/shift **** and the power back door. I don't believe many Premium's were made - Premium Plus was pretty much the "minimum" trim level.
The "Navigation" package included the contents of the Premium Plus package plus nav and ML. However, you could also get nav as an option tacked on to a Premium Plus package; that's how you can get it without ML.
The Performance package had the air suspension, shiftable automatic transmission, special 18" wheels, and it was also the only way to get the side-to-side adaptive headlights in 2004. According to the brochure, it includes everything that Premium Plus has except the wood steering wheel and shift ****.
The Multi-Panel Moonroof package is similar to the Premium Plus package, but with the giant moonroof and therefore no roof rack.
Several other items were available as options. The number of cars sold with these options varied by region of the country.
- Rear Seat DVD Entertainment System (requires the nav system)
- Heated Front Seats
- Auto Rain-Sensing Wipers
- Towing package (trans fluid cooler, wiring harness in the rear)
- Laser-Assisted Dynamic Cruise Control
- 18" 5-spoke wheels (17" 6-spoke are standard, except for Performance package)

Damn, turns out the one I was looking at does not have ML sound with the Nav.
I searched the entire cars.com and autotrader.com for a black/tan with nav and ML and couldn't find even one. Have to keep looking.
I am extremely surprised at how many vehicles didn't have either option, just the premium plus package. Seems kinda pointless to buy a $40K plus vehicle and not get any options on it. Might as well get a Highlander or Rav 4 or something cheaper.
