Default RX330 Option Restrictions?.?.?

I'm looking for as close to an official answer as I can get at this point re: option packages for the 330.

I was just recently told that the 'Performance' package and the "Nav" package were mutually exclusive. In other words, getting the air suspension means that I will never get lost.

It seemed that the dealership we were talking with really wasn't 'ordering' cars but more receiving what they were given.

Is this accurate information? I'm not sure why the two packages would 'interfere' with each other really and I was kindof looking forward to having both capabilities.

Can anyone shed light on this?

Default Performance and Nav Packages

I just placed a deposit on a 330 today, and my dealer gave me a copy of their allocation sheet, so I might be able to help you with this. According to their allocation, the Performance Package (VP) is ONLY available with the Nav system. In addition, they are getting a sparse 3% of their allocation with this mix. Another interesting point is that the Large Sunroof Package is only available without Nav. One final point is that the Dynamic Laser Cruise Control is not available on any package, and I don't know if that can be ordered separately.

Wow...only 3%!? Guess I better call my deposit-holding dealer and tell him what's going on in the world. My wife spoke to someone today who indicated the 180 degree opposite as far as performance/nav pkgs. I'm glad to hear that you've heard otherwise - though I wish the percentage was higher...

Please post more if you hear anything else! Our dealers don't seem to be up on the latest...

Here's an older link that list the packages for the 330 (Look at the bottom of the page). They might have been changed though.

Thanks...seems to be real similar to what I've read elsewhere...however what they don't spell out is what is not orderable with what...such as...and I guess this makes some sense...you can't get the RSES with the multipanel roof.

Now, that one may be common sense but we had heard rumors of other mutually exlusive packages - having a deposit on an XC90, I'm trying to get some answers before we have to get serious!

According to the dealer sheet at the Preview tonight, Performance pkge comes with special graphite color wheels, air suspension, serial A/T (for manual shifting). Also included is Nav with rear camera, prem pkge, and dual heated seats,HID lights, rear power door, roof rack, heated front seats, rain sensing wipers. . Only 3% of cars to be equipped this way. All RX330 to have 18" wheels, probably in response to Nissan Murano and Infiniti FX with 18" wheels, for better handling. Only 25% of RX with Nav. All leather interiors, cloth is a special order only.
