shift **** removal
i understand there's just 2 screws and a couple wires for our shifter (i just bought the wood one to replace my leather one). anybody know where the screws are? i'm pretty stupid...

lextek, the RX shifter won't unscrew the same way that a GS or LS shifter will. There is wiring involved for the overdrive button. When I had my leather shifter replaced with the wood/leather one I had the dealer do it. I heard it wasn't easy and the dealer charged me for two hours of labor. They had to take apart part of the center console to get to the shifter to unscrew it.
If you decided to do it yourself, I have some pictures of my shifter that was taken off. Maybe this will help you see what it looks like after it has been removed.
