RX300 (2003) Drivers Door Problem.
One of the clips that holds a push-rod in place has broken off. Naturally, the door is closed and locked. I have no key entry, no key-less entry, and cannot get the door to open using the internal control panel on the arm rest. I am having to enter and exit my RX from the front passenger door. Is there any way to gain access to the inside of the door from the door panel to get the locking mechanism unlatched. I have purchased a second hand panel in case I have to cut through the one on the vehicle. Your suggestions will be sincerely appreciated.

Welcome to clublexus.
Does your outside lever feel as if the door is locked ,,, free movement?
Among the method suggested is to open the release handle and see if you can access through there.

I would take the panel off of the passenger side, study the lock, make a tool using pliers and a wire hangar to work the lock with the window down and when I felt confident about my tool and technique I would move to the driver side. Assuming, of course that you can still put the driver's window down.
