Default APX Auto - Sensen Shocks

Put some $170 a set sensen shocks on RX in March of 2012. Approx 30k and 2yrs later i have found the rears to be totally blown out. Fronts may be the same but havent removed and examined yet. Lifetime warranty on the sensens state that they must be shipped back at owners cost for replacement. Not sure its worth the hassle if they may only last 2yrs Going with KYB's this time around. Figured id give you guys a heads up.

Interesting ... the rears dont get to be abused more than the front ...

I would suggest KYB ... the OEM are tooo expensive.

Yes ive seen on multiple vehicles were the rears tend to start banging around before the fronts. Just picked up some KYB Excel G locally at KOI auto parts for $107each and 2nd one was 50% off. So both rears out the door for $170. Not bad!

They are built flimsier too and I guess it makes a difference in how the RX is weight down.

I thought about going with these struts before, but I didn't want to have to do the job again if the struts went bad early. Some people claimed these rode stiffer than stock, so that was another reason I decided to stick with KYBs, even though they too are stiffer than OEM in order to make up for weaker springs.
