Default 2003 "sport" model?

I am looking at a 2003 rx300 "sport" model.

What is a sport model? I can't find any literature to support this label.

Based on the pics it looks like it has the aluminum instead of wood interior.

Here is the ad.

I WOULD NEVER pay the asking.

If it has aluminum instead of the wood on the center console then it's likely a coach edition not sport. There was never a sport edition, only coach edition.

There was, it was called Silversport and it came in black or silver. Had different suspension, preforated leather seating, aluminum interior accents, color-matched side panels, HIDs, and a honeycomb grill.

The only thing I see on the car advertised is the aluminum interior accents.

Oh, your right. That totally slipped my mind. that makes sense, cause the coach edition have a badge on the back too.

But, it's not a sport edition.

Hmm, ok. It is not the coach.
I thought it could be the silversport, but seems to be made in 2001.

The interior/exterior colors seem a bit odd as I can not find a brochure that allows for the white with the black leather interior.

So, what is it?

This one does not look like a Silversport to me. No perforated leather, wrong colors, no Silversport badging. I think it's an RX300 with the wood trim swapped for metallic trim. I didn't know it orginally came that way.

Yep, Sports Edition was introduced in 2001. Mine is 2001 Sports Edition, it will say at bottom of the door near the front seats in big writing. My color is Blue Vapor, like silver with blue tint to it, looks nice. As far as why it is called a Sports Edition ? .. I guess because it has all black interior, spoiler and aluminum instead of wood interior which looks nice. The radio is premium but not ML and it has better sound/bass then what is in other car, 2007 ES350 .. figure that out.

Dug320, Thank you for the PDF, I have attached picture of my 2001 RX300, Sport Edition. I do prefer the silver trim over the woodtrim because it blends well with all-black interior.

This is really weird, must have been some sort of custom order or something
