i have a 1999 rx300 with 120k on it. i don't drive it much so it sits on the driveway. i usually have to jump it to get it started. this week i decided to start driving it a bit more. but after a few errands the check engine light comes on and the truck starts missing. i hooked it up to the scanner and it came up po171 which is a bank one o2 sensor, and also that cylinders 1,3,5 are misfiring. i changed the o2 and the truck ran amazing for a few rides. the same day the light came back on and is missing bad again. any idea of what is going on thanks for all the help in adance

Misfire are much more noticeable. Ignition coil or spark plug may be bad.

clean your mass air flow sensor all you need is a phillips screw driver to take it out and clean it. get a can of mass airflow cleaner at a parts store spray a little bit let it dry put it back in clear the codes you should be back in business in no time.

mass airflow sensor get dirty all time oh its on your intank hose where your air filter is. it has like 4 or 5 wires not to sure its right on top it says toyota,denso and some numbers on it I hope this helps you.

I have a 99 RX 300 with same problem, i clean the MAF ran good for a day and back doing the same thing what else can be wrong.
