the lights did go away when I disconnected but when I was checking the servo motors while the car was running just as I turned the AC on they came back on. When I corrected the flap so the AC would blow the lights went out and has not come back on. Yes I agree this is puzzling but I am not gonna grip I am gonna be thankful that everything is working the way it should. If...I hope a big if they come back on I will have them read again...then you guys can listen to me again..lol

Hey Barb.. I have just the other problem, I have no heat. Looking at the picture you posted it looks like the lower servo . Salim give me information also. How hard was it to get to that unit. Not as young as I use to be, so the body is not as limber as it use to be.

Please verify the compressor and refrigerant are working. This can be done by checking the high pressure line from compressor is cold. If that is all good then look at the mix servo.

Just finished replacing my air-mix servo after 2 attempts at repairing the existing one using the "rebuild" techniques described by others in this forum. The servo would work for a while and then fail again and it is a bit of a pain to remove so I finally bit the bullet and bought a new one.
No AC could be the servo or the compressor or a freon leak. First run your AC for a few and check the temperature of the lines coming from the compressor. If the are hot and cold the problem is likely the servo. I found the best tool to remove the screw behind the heater pipes to be a small slotted screwdriver which can be placed between the pipes. I have gotten pretty good at this removal/reinstall and can now do it in 30'.
You can temporarily resolve the servo issue by loosening the screws holding the servo and disconnecting the servo arm from the air mix lever. The lever will assume the cooling position.
Good luck

Start by checking if there is chilling going and condensation is dripping (assuming you have humidity), check the AC clutch and see if the load and rpms get affected by the AC being turned on [2nd electric fan should kick in too]
