Fault codes P0300 0301 0303 0305 0171 0171P
I apologize in advance as im pretty sure this has been answered before. I just cant find it/make sense of it!!
I had a problem with a hole in my exhaust(the mesh flexible hose part). I ran the car for a few weeks getting 8-9 mpg till i could get it booked in/pay for a repair. Just being a hole in the exhaust i didnt think i would do much damage.
Anyway had the exhaust repaired and it failed the emission test as the cat was flooded with excess fuel. Added a fuel additive/ran it high revs and all good.
50 miles later check engine light and the codes above. I have pulled the negative battery and am waiting for it to show up again and check the codes.
what needs done? Just a sensor? maf? engine misfire doesnt sound good!
any help would be appreciated.

I'd take the 3 ignition coils on the rear bank and put them on the front bank and vice-versa and see what codes you get then. The problem in question is related to Have cylinders on the rear bank. Have you gotten a flashing check engine light at any time?

Yeah every now and again the light flashes. I was hoping this was just a sensor problem too.
What do you think I'm looking at parts and labour? how easy to swap the coils?
Thanks again.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 (Air/Fuel Sensor) is located behind the engine,
see this thread, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...el-sensor.html
You will see it in post 5. The Denso part number is 234-9009.

Swap the coils first. Usually the flash CEL and those codes you have indicate one or more busted coils.

Cleared the codes via removing battery terminal and after 20 mins or so its showing 2 faults and 1 pending.
0171 1133 and a pending code think it was the 0171 again(cleared before writing it down!)

Don't worry about the P0171, that often comes up due to the P1133 issure (which is the same A/F sensor in question behind the engine).
