I'm wondering if there's a problem with your fuel lines or injectors.... I've been on this board for several months and this is the first I've heard of this problem. If you get an answer from your Lexus service department, please share with us!

Whitch O2 sensor was replaced? I believe there are 3 to choose from. The most common O2 to fail is in the rear exhaust manifold. At least this is the one ive replaced severall of.

Ok. Guys!
Stop guessing.
Here is the deal. RX 300 has 3(three) Oxygen sensors. Air/fuel sensor (screw in type dealers price ~ $300) that goes to the exaust manifold (this manifold is look like a baseball glove) and this one is on a front of the engine, another one is down at the exaust pipe right before the catalytic convertor (flange connection ~ $ 100) and it's a pain in the neck to get it out because of the high temperature at this spot the nuts that are holding the flange are fried to it, next and the last one is somewhere is on th so called "right bank" and this one is about $450 to get this one out you have to leave your car overnight because they won't work on it utill the engine is stone cold.
Good luck evyrone have fun.
Any suggestions on the extended warranty?
