Default My 2002 RX300

So here are the mods/work Ive done so far:

Coach Edition Grill
Refinished Leather
Bazooka Tube & 600 watt MTX amp in rear
Nav retro w/ gen 4 computer (thanks Jon & Gus)
RX330 18s on 255/55/18s
Headlights refinished
OEM spoiler
Tint - made the back darker and then matched the front (front not as dark as back per florida laws)

Mods still needed:
Coach Edition head rests
Paint the bottom pannels to match the top
Back up camera + possibly integrate into the existing nav
HIDs or Silverstars
Heated seats

The car just hit about 72k...let me know what you think!

Looks nice; I don't understand why you feel compelled to paint the lower body cladding to match the upper sheet-metal.

well i drive a black is250 and this is my wifes car- she actually prefers the mono tone paint from the silversport/coach editions. We almost bought a 330 but the price different was really big at the time so this is kind of a compromise. I was considering painting the whole car the color of the bottom pannels! can anyone photo shop that one!

Take the roof racks off until you need to actually use them. Much cleaner look.

Personally I'm opposed to the monochromatic approach; reason that Toyota went with the two-tone is that the lower cladding is plastic, and there is no way that it will take paint the same way that the metal does. Will always look at least a little off.

yea thats what they told me at the paint shop...they said you can tell the difference on alot of older cars which pannels were metal and which are plastic. But they said with a good sand down, primer and tons of paint + clear coat they can basically blend it to the top pannels. That would cost me around 1k...1700 if i do some other random body work (dings).

More info about the Aux in mod, please? I've looked into this but can only find the DICE-type adapters, which disconnect the CD changer.

Check out the write-up of my XM radio installation of about 1 1/2 years ago (summer of 2008). I purchased matching male and female connectors and did a plug-in cable breakout (no slicing or taping).
