False "Rear Bulb Failure" Warning
Yesterday, I'm driving home from work and the first time I step on the brake, the warning light on the dash comes on to indicate a rear bulb is out. The next time I start the car, the light goes out until the first time I step on the brake. Then once again, it stays on until I turn off the car.
Tonight, I have my son step on the brake light to see which one of the 4 rear brake light bulbs is out and all 4 light up. What's up with the indicator??
Wait, I just realized, I never noticed whether or not the high mounted stop light illuminated. Going to check it now. If the warning system is smart enough to check that bulb too, then the system is pretty good.

I had that problem when I first acquired my RX300. Found that if I took the bulb out and bent the metal tabs out and then re-inserted the bulb, all was good and haven't a prblem since then. I like to check all my bulbs with meter tester in continuity mode ringer.
