Welcome to the Club. I think I know what you are referring to. The 2004 model year RX in Europe was actually equipped with th 3.0 L engine, not the 3.3 engine commonly found on the RX330 sold in the United States and other areas. That fuel consumption, in km/l can range by my count from somewhere around 6 to 11, with the low number being more toward hard city driving and the high number being more toward free highway driving. It depends also on the elevation and type of fuel you are using, but that would be for closer to sea level.
The body design will be different for your vehicle looking like the 2nd generation RX, but having the 3.0 l engine. That engine can be very reliable provided that you use a good synthetic oil and change it at least once every 8000 km. The other thing to watch is that the transmission fluid is changed at least once every 25000 km or so. We can show you how to do a lot of the maintenance on that engine and transmission in this forum.
The other issues with the vehicle are mostly minor and we've been able to deal with most of them in this forum.
