Default Exhaust tip installation help

Hello all,

I just received my chrome exhaust tip for my RX today and I opened up the box and everything seemed simple enough except for a weird part I'm not too sure of, and what to do with.

Included parts:

Chrome Exhaust tip
A weird metal plate
the allen tool

No manual. well I had my cousin order it in Taiwan for me and he sent it back to me here. Wow, was it cheap. Ive seen it online for $85 without shipping. I got it for $18 and the shipping was $16.

ok... sidetracked...

well I was just wondering if anyone knew what to do with that weird plate that was included. Im sorry I don't have my dig. camera with me at work, but here is a crude drawing I made.

What is that plate for and where do I put it. I didn't see anything under the car to attach it to???? Is it for another vehicle that has a similar muffler?

Thanks!

one man post!!!! go me...

ok just installed it. after fiddeling around for a while i found that the metal plate thing slides into the chrome tip so that it rests on top of the actual muffler tip itself and the chrome tip rests on that. kind of a sandwich deal This is needed to fill in the gap between the muffler and the tip. hope someone benefits from my one man post.

ok i had fun talking to myself : )
