heat/cool display icon
Is there any way to get rid of that sitting man icon on the dispalay when A/C or heat are off? Why is it on all the time? Does not make sense. The radio or cd indicators are off when they are off, why the 'sitting man' does not go away when AC/heat are not in use. Any suggestions?

Okay, I have an answer for the "sitting man."
When you turn off your HVAC system the sitting man stays on in order to display where the vents are directing air. Even with the HVAC system off, if your system isn't in recycled mode, air will come in from the vent outside into the air ducts (this happens because while driving air is being forced in through the vents outside leading into the vehicle). With the system off you still have the ability to hit the "mode" button and have the arrows pointing at the head, feet, etc. So, the vents are still adjustable. You can also hit the recycled button, and while the HVAC system is off, no air will be forced into the cabin while you are driving.
If you crank you RX and turn the radio off and the HVAC off then hit the "mode" button you will hear the mechanism changing the direction of the air flow in the vents. Check it out.
