Salim, the Pennzoil website specifically says that what you quote above is a myth and is completely untrue. Where did you get this information from?? I am considering using a full synthetic and am getting conflicting information.

jcjr: Are you in the Phoenix area? If so, is there a place you take your RX to for service that you don't do yourself that you can trust and is reasonably priced?

I just use full synthetic, usually M1, at 5k. Think they use 5W30, would like to use 5W40 but the place I go doesn't have it.

I spent half the year in Phoenix and the other half in Washington state...I do a lot of DIY...Timing belt was done by Toyota dealer in WA...I try to use toyota dealers although they sometimes won't play along if there is a Lexus dealer nearby
