There's also lots of good stuff written about it on Bob is the Oil Guy, which is without a doubt the best motor oil (and other lubricants) site on the web, http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/

Help.. I noticed a leak yesterday on my 01 RX 300 (99k miles)and went to the Toyota dealer and the mechanic tells me it's main rear seal!!!
After spending a couple of hours reading all the posts on Club Lexus, I am thinking of trying out the Auto-RX additive.
Any suggestions? Did anyone have any luck with it? I know Whitestrok did, but am wondering if he just got lucky???
Any answers would be well appreciated..

Hi CSA-RX,
I had auto RX about 2 months no leak at all. I don't know about the future. I think it is a good idea to try with below $30.00 dollar. I bought the rear main seal with other seals and keep in my store room for future leaks. If so i will replace rear main seal including transfer case and transmisson torque convertor seals and timing belt. It will cost me the labor $800.00 with experienced toyota mechanic.
