Short driver, trouble seeing over hood
My wife is 5'2" and cannot see over the hood well enough to feel safe behind the wheel. The seat is as high as it will go. Has anyone else found this problem and if so how did you overcome? Our previous 2nd gen RX worked well for her. We sure don't want to go backwards but if safety is an issue...

My wife is short also. The drivers seat would not raise high enough forher to feel secure while driving because she had to look thru the steering wheel. Simply stated, the seat would not rise enough. She uses a 3 inch wedge cushion and it works great. Too bad you pay for an analine leather seat and have to use a cushion to see. Too bad Lexus can't/won't install a different riser to allow the additional needed seat height especially with the Luxury Package. It cost enough.

Lexus could have easily sourced a smaller headrest for the RX and increase the seat adjustment height range a little more. The Fsports headrest is unusally tall. Taller than my GS headrest.

Didn't they make it that way to prevent whip lash? I remember hearing or seeing about that. But yes, I am 6'3 and have a long neck and mine is on the lowest setting

And head liner. Since I have the panorama roof there may be a difference. I have no idea why mine has additional space than your photo exhibits. The headrest could be shorter but it's the way it is .

With the drivers seat as high as it will rise I still have approx 2 inches of space between headrest

If you speak to Lexus, they'll change out the headrest to one from another model, they're all plug and play
But that probably won't help your seat height issue
