Center console cover / armrest cover
i put on a sheepskin cover on my center console cover today. Many of you know that this area gets dirty very quick. I decided to take some protective steps while the leather still looks good. Sweaty elbow now no problem after 18 holes of golf. Looks a little retro but black color mimizes the effect.

Where did you find it and is it a custom fit? I have a couple 1980s vintage Mercedes Benz sheepskin headrest covers in the same color. Will have to see if one fits.

I got it from here. http://www.rmsheepskin.com/
Back in the day (about 10 years ago) Benz used offer wool interior in Europe. Yes, actual wool with fibers on top. it looked like a nice corduroy jacket. I much prefer that interior over leather as all wool needed was vacuuming. Leather is nice looking but takes a bit of maintenance not to mention turning blue when you wear nice selvage or raw denim jeans on parchment or grey color leather.

I read on the detailing forum here that coating your seats with Leather Masters - leather protectant will prevent the blue from your jeans from rubbing off on the seats. I applied some 10 days ago (after first cleaning the seats with Leather Masters - strong cleaner). Too early to know if it actually works long term, but seats are still clean, shiny and look much better than before.
