Left Gas Cap Off-Which Fuse to Pull to Reset Check Engine Light
Filled up my 2012 Lexus Rx450h in NJ. They don't have self-service there, so I don't blame myself, but gas cap not tightened. Check Engine light is on, I tightened gas cap, light still on. Wife all nervous about the light. Is there just a fuse I can pull to reset the warning light ? There seem to be a few fuses labeled ECU. Exactly which one should I pull ? If I don't, how soon before it will it reset on its own ?
Thanks !
Thanks !

It should reset itself in a few days.

All auto parts stores I know of will NOT reset the code. I know because I've tried to get them to reset the code on my car a while ago. The counter persons told me "their policy is to only inform you what the code means and not reset it."
