Speedo vs Average MPH read out
We've had our 2013 RX350 CPO for about a month now. We traveled to NC a few weeks ago and I noticed that the speedo would read 70 but the computer Ave. MPH would read 4 mph less. This was using cruse on the highway. In about an hours time I zeroed the Ave. MPH a couple of times only to have the same result. It still is happening at any speed. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it a dealer issue? Thanks for any input.

The average speed read out I believe takes the total time the car is running into the average speed. That includes time idling at a light, in the driveway, etc. the most I have seen is ~19mph.

OP is resetting it while the cruise is engaged and flying through beautiful North Carolina @ 70 mph, no idling or traffic lights in play.
Best to go to Confucius on this one.

I find it to be minimally useful. It is a good reminder that just because you go 80 you waste more time at traffic signals and slow traffic than was apparent at the time.

Try a reset before releasing the car to a family member...or a valet parker!
