so long story short, my parents 10' RX450h is reaching 100k miles, we decided not to trade it in for a 2016 update model yet as the 10' treated us really really well.

so major service, coolant flush, new water pump, belt, tensioner (maybe), new plugs, was quote $980 for the pump/coolant/belt. $350 for plugs, $210 for tranny flush (not drain and fill)

as a DIYer I service my own car at home, but $350 for 6 plugs sound really darn high, i did my own plugs on a 2007 GS450h and the plugs only cost me $55 shipped (OEM denso). but i research the Toyota Highlander the whole process seems too much (as you have to remove wiper blade and front cover of the car.

i also got quoted from the Lexus dealer again and they want $1k without any of those waterpump/coolant they just doing oil change and inspection with all filter change which i told them no thanks.

so any of you have your car service anywhere in the Bay? if so please let me know!
