In my research today I found a RX that is being advertised as a 2013,however, it was built in 6/12. There are many description of the vehicle that refers to "2012". For instance the shark fin antenna, 12-disc indash cd player, rear window defroster...... Help, I'm confused.
Easy to tell from the VIN, the 10th digit on a 2013 is a D.

Carmakers have some flexibility as to what model year they call a car and when production of that year starts. And a car made early in the production cycle may carry some leftover parts from the previous year. "Options and specifications shown may be subject to change without notice."
Who is your local dealer? Maybe they'd do a search for your Claret car. Better for them to find you one than for you to buy it elsewhere. We got our white one @ Greenwich, which was an excellent experience.
