cargo dimensions, in inches.
I've looked high and low for some cargo dimensions for one of the lexus 350..all I am getting is cubic feet but I'm trying to find out if dog crates will fit in the back.
They're 42 inches wide.
Does anyone have the specs (length/width/height) of the cargo space with the seats down (or seats up)?

Didn't measure it but you can get the width from a cargo liner dimensions. On Amazon, weathertech width is 9 x 55 x 9 inches .. So 55 inches wide. If you line up 42" crates by depth, then you can probably put 2 of them side by side with seats down.
I will give you exact dimensions later on today once I measure them. I can only give you with seats up though.

I did a quick measure on this. The way the roof is slanted causes you to lose a lot of extra space.
Length (true) is 49" from top (back of head rest to end of usable space). At bottom it extends to 73" which is good for long flat items but bad for boxy items. Width is 43" at bottom and 44" midway. Height is 29". So you can fit your dog crate or two but it really depends on their height and length.
For a box your dimension would be 49" x 44" x 29" as your height drops you can avail the extra 24" in the butt.

Thanks for posting this. I have a very similar question. Do you know if a love seat would fit in the trunk? I'm less concerned with the length (70 inches), because I'm only driving it a few blocks. However, the depth and width of the loveseat, respectively, are 36 inches and 31 inches.
With a bungee cord, it looks like I could probably fit a 70" x 44" x 29" loveseat with it hanging out the back. Do you think I could fit a 70" x 36" x 31" loveseat?
Thanks so much,
Kristen

I think with the love seat it may be too tall, but depends on if those measurements include the legs. You may be able to wiggle it in there at an angle and then tie the legs to a seat belt ring or floor anchor. If it is only a few blocks that may work. This is one of those things where you may have to try and fit it in to know.

I’m trying to see if two dog crates that was 22.5” wide would fit side by side. Looks like it will be 1/2” too narrow!
