2013 RX450h F-Sport -- How much would you pay?
My significant other is shopping for an RX450h. After going back and forth between the 3RX and the upcoming 4RX, we decided the 3RX is a better value since the previous owner already took the depreciation hit.
We found a 2013 RX450h F-sport (Nebula Gray / Saddle) with luxury, premium, comfort, etc. The only major feature missing is Mark Levinson and LED headlamp, both not high on our priority list. It's a Lexus CPO with 65k miles and they're asking for $37,300.
This is the first time I will be buying a car from a Lexus dealership so I don't know what kind room they have for negotiation. KBB CPO value is exactly $37k, and trade-in value is $31-32k. Obviously we want the best deal possible, but we understand the dealer has to make money too so any input would be appreciated!

No, I don't play soccer!
Do you mean an RX450h with the sport appearance package? The F-Sport isn't available in the US yet. And it would help to know if it's FWD or AWD. Personally I think you could do better. That RXh has some serious miles on it for being two years old. Being CPO helps but not much.

Sorry about that, it's FWD. 65k miles does seem excessive for a 2013, but it's still considered a virgin in the Lexus world! What's the difference between the sport appearance package and F-sport? I could have sworn the F-sport package existed. Car prices here in southern california is definitely overpriced though.

Sport appearance package has some similarities to the F-Sport style-wise but it doesn't have the sportier suspension. The RX450h F-Sport came out in 2013 but in Europe. We only got the RX350 F-Sport. Maybe that's what caused the confusion. It'll be available on the '16 450h in the US, finally!
True, the RX can last. It's just CPO isn't going to take you far if your wife puts on the miles. But I know they're hard to come by. If you're really interested, I'd say offer $33-34K since it's FWD. LED headlights were part of the luxury package back in 2010. I don't know if/when it was dropped. Maybe someone else knows.

The LED Headlights and Luxury Package were priced separately for MY 2012.

I offered the dealer $34k, but they wouldn't budge. The lowest they'll go is $36k. On the other hand, there is another dealer within the area offering an RX without the sports package for $36k, with only 14k miles. I could drive quite a bit within the 3 years warranty! It has tan interior though, which doesn't looks quite as nice as saddle to me.

Thanks VVRX.
I'd definitely opt for the RXh with less miles if it's similarly equipped otherwise. Interior color might not be to your liking but you'd have both basic and hybrid battery warranty left. And time to decide if you want to extend it.

Too late. I signed the paper last night since I was able to get it down to a reasonable price. Going to pick her up in a few hours. Turns out, the lower mileage RX didn't have back-up camera, blind spot monitor, and a few other things and the paint was not as nice. First mod will be a tow hitch for my bikes. Thanks to everyone for their input!
