a/c diagnostic test on 2015?
hi people. i have noticed that some times my climate control (is set fine) then i will shut the car off, go back in and drive and its set to a different temp? and a/c was off? still on auto setting though? wtf? this all started the last time i washed it with the key fob in my pocket. and when i wash it with the fob in my pocket it locks and unlocks the mirrors fold and unfold them and im wondering if it zapped it some how or something? is there a way to do a climate control diagnostic test on the 15? like we could on the 2005?

Unsure of 2015, but 2010-2012 air conditioning settings were memorized per key fob. Perhaps you use your fob to unlock car the AC is being set to settings memorized by fob. (car memorizes which fob and what settings associated with which fob)
Washing car with fob in pocket will often lock and unlock car. Unlikely you damaged anything.

Right.
I suggest you put your FOB a few feet away from your RX when washing to avoid the lock/unlock thing that occurs when water flows over the door handles or you touch them as you wash or dry the vehicle. It's the way the technology is... not a problem with your RX or Lexus. I had the same issue with my former BMW and present MBZ. I have a hook in my garage that is out-of-range of my cars in the driveway, which I put the key/FOB on before I wash it so I don't get the ghostly effect.
