I've used Blackstone for three of my oil changes. Gives you a good feeling when you go 10k on the oil and they give it a good report

A standard test is around $25. Well worth the cost for piece of mind and possibly less costly maintenance down the road.

You're car is designed to use the 0w20w full synthetic oil. Like most manufacturers now you have a low friction engine built with higher tolerances and uses thinner synthetic oil. If you look in your owners manual, it probably reads as mine does that if that happens, change it again within 5 thousand miles with the correct grade and specs. You'll probably notice slightly less fuel economy with the thicker oil.

Are you subject to damage of any type by bouncing back and forth between synthetic and conventional, even if you're changing the oil regularly? I now have 38K miles and car seems to be running fine, but now I'm concerned. Thanks!

please share your reports and what brand/weight oils you have used

I am very curious of wear characteristics of the 5w20 and 0w20 oils that are out there.

Except for one dealer screw up, the 0w20w Toyota oil. Works well. I'm getting most of my oil changes done at the Toyota store. It's the same oil, but they don't take as much of my money .
