I've been using Siri for about a week now. Works much better than the Lexus voice control. I've notice that the contacts uploaded to the Lexus have to be 2 words. First and last name. Contacts such as home or a restaurant do not load. Therefore I just use Siri. Siri understands my voice commands much better also. When using google or Apple maps turn by turn you must manually switch to Bluetooth audio. So if your listening to Howard Stern and you ask Siri for directions home; it will not automatically switch to Bluetooth audio. Overall I'm very impressed with Bluetooth audio and how well it works with my 5s. Also love the iPhone sliding tray holder in the center console.

For those of you that have the 2014 RX and an iPhone, how do phone calls sound through the car's speakers? I've read many threads about the sound coming from only one speaker and sound very tinny. What are your thoughts?

Calls are routed through the dash speakers only I believe, so it loses a lot of the low frequency content.

I have had my 2014 for just 4 days and I am loving the Siri free feature! You can easily send a text just by pressing your home bottom on your iPhone. It works perfectly. Then Siri reads it back to me and asks if I would like to send it now. When I receive a new text it alerts my on my nav screen and allows me to have it read to me. It was defiantly worth waiting for the 2014 for this feature alone!

It's the OFF HOOK switch, not the voice command button. I'm guessing it's separated so one button gives you Lexus VR and one Siri, then you don't have to worry about holding it down long enough and getting the wrong system, etc. I tried it out at a dealer and thought it worked pretty well.
