Price for 2012 RX350
I am currently shopping for a new 2012 RX350 and trying to take advantage of the clearance special. I am qualify for the owner loyalty rebate=$1500 and the US open volunteer certificate=$1500 and my understanding is both can be combined. Do you guys think $10k+ off MSRP would be doable with those rebates or am I being too unrealistic? Thanks!
I am here in California, btw...

I shopped almost all dealerships in CA, btw I am in Texas and the best deal I got was 14% off msrp before shipping and we are happy with it as the Texas dealers would not budge. good luck.

$10k OFF is TOO much to ask for. However, 15% off of MSRP is do-able these days for 2012 models (except 450h) PLUS your $3000 certificates will bring the purchase price really low.
$50k msrp - $7k (14% off) - $3k cert = 40k + Tax and title.
Good luck.

I got a 2012 RX over Memorial Day Weekend. MSRP 48500 and I got it down to 42500. I would think that you can get a much better deal now because dealers are looking to unload 2012 models. BTW, I bought mine from Cerritos Lexus.

i got 7k off a 49k msrp car with no haggling so i think i can definitely do better than 7k off now since all the dealers in the area still have lots of 12 RX left...just sucks that the loyalty rebate only applies to the GS and I m thinking whether I should wait another month and see if there will be any additional rebates..

Probably depends where you live and how many in stock and color you want. I just purchased a 2012 Black with parchment interior, fully loaded, sticker $49,000 purchased $43,500. I could of saved another $800 with the silver. I thought I was going to wait and get the 2013 but Im ok with the 2012. Thats a great deal getting $7000, they kept mentioning the lower profit margin and at first only offered $2500 off of a 2012. I was ready to walk out. They also gave me a little more than blue book for my 2007 RX trade in, which reduced tax amount. Maybe could of done more bargaining, but I thought it was a good enough deal.

Finally took the plunge and bought the 2012 RX350. Sticker price was $48,103, final deal was $39,500, so $8603 off msrp including my US open $1500 credit....That was the best I can do after 1 week of back and forth negotiation and I am satisfy...it was a straight purchase with no trade in..

The us open rebate was for visiting the lexus booth 2 weeks ago at the Olympic club here in San Francisco..it's 1500 off your best negotiated price so an extra incentive to buy or to lease a new Lexus..
