Anyone get a discount on a 2013 RX??

There may be other explanations beyond effort if someone negotiates a different offer. For example, when you scan the dealers inventory on their listing there is days in inventory listed. Sometimes this number can start to get high on a given vehicle. So if a car has been sitting on a lot for six months, the dealer may throw some extra dollars on the deal to just get the car sold before it incurs any further aging on the lot. Someone will then report a very good price here, but the full picture is not apparent. Sometimes a dealer may have too many of a given equipment/color combo given the rate at which they sell (I think this was a factor in a $6500 off deal I got on my 450h). As a buyer you can also use this info to get either a possible discount or insure you are getting a fresh car.

It seems the MSRP has increased for about $350 (0.7%) very recently on 2013 RX350s, as I was checking the TMV of a new RX350 with the exact same configuration as the one I just bought, according to a few online sources (edmunds, carsdirect, etc.). I couldn't find any press release regarding this.
Anyone heard of the price hike of Lexus after the new year?

good deal?
Hi all, happ new year:
I pulled the trigger on 2013 FSPORT for $51,500 OTD in SF bay area. First time Lexus owner, super excited.
Financed at 1.9 for 5 years.
NAVI
Blind spot
Parking assist
Door edge guard
Preferred Accessory Package
Made the purchase on my first test drive and only dealership we visited, not the best deals for sure, but for the spontaneous purchase decision, I think the deal is fair. We were looking to buy a 2010 model, on the way to the back to see the car, we saw an FSPORT, we stopped dead in our track, ask for test drive, end of story, LOL.

Hello,
I'm rejoining the Lexus family. We picked up a 2013 Lexus RX350 AWD (stargazer black/parchment interior).
Option packages:
Navigation
Premium
Park assist
Comfort
Prefffered accessory
Wood trim pieces
Sticker: $49,067
We got it for $45,300 plus tax, tags and $199 dealer processing fee. But I got them to give me $1500 over blue book for my trade, which was $800 more then anyone else in the area would give me for it. I had visited 5 Lexus dealerships in the past two days. I know I could have sold it myself for more, but in Md your only taxed on the difference between your trade and purchase price, so it wasn't worth the effort to sell it my self. So how how did we do?

$5,500+ 500 off MSRP is doable if you read the posts here and I think it's a fair price to both dealer and the buyer. That's what I paid for my 2013 AWD 450h just right before the X'mas. If you work harder you may get another $1K (or 2) off but rarely. For a ~$50K car, $1K is just a peanut, not worth the time IMHO (I tried but not very successful). There are thousands and thousands out there paid $1K off MSRP and thought they made a good deal and were happy. Just enjoy your new ride!
