Highway driving?
Ok so I just drove about 1300 KM from Edmonton Alberta to Vancouver BC and I was wondering from people who have done trips, how much you get per tank? I was getting about 490-500 km a tank...same of which I get in city and was going a steady pace of about 140-150 KM/h. So far I have seen highway driving is horribly worse than city...or I am doing something wrong?

I get about 400 miles when the low fuel light comes on. I usually refill then... around 15gal. per tank.. mostly highway driving.
Not sure what a km is or a liter is... US plans on invading all the countries who carelessly use the outdated metric system, to force them to conform to our better standard.
PS.. this is in a 450h. sorry.. i assume you are referring to a 350.

My results are quite similar to Lil4cyl's. It's about 600+ KM per tank (around 60 liters).
maakaveli, I'd say your speed is too fast. Generally, 80-100 KM/h would give you the better results. Usually, faster speed can result in worse numbers. I envy you your fancy speed. It's almost impossible for me to get that steady pace over here.
Mine is RX350.

The highway speed limit on that stretch is mostly 100 kph, so the OP is fortunate not to have been caught speeding or else poor fuel economy would be a moot point.

I fail to see what's so horrible about your numbers. The car is rated as follows:
18mpg = 13.1 L/100km City
25mpg = 9.4 L/100km Highway
21mpg = 11.2 L/100km Combined
What were you expecting when you bought the car? I'll admit the size of the tank is small, and I'm even considering getting a larger one, but the L/100km have been spot on, as published.
