Default fuel Aprox Range readout ?

i was wondering every time i fill up it sets the Aprox Fuel range to 375 weather it was just after a full tank of city driving or a full tanke of highway driving
is this normal just the default setting when the tank is full ?

i know it's only an average readout on how many miles i should be able to go before having to fill up again
but for it to always read 375 weather im getting a tank avg of 20mph or a tanke avg of 28.9 mpg

would think that perhaps it should be higher at times ?

I'm not sure how that's calculated, but my 2007 shows a little over 400 miles after a fill up. I don't think there's any way to accurately calculate it as everyone's driving habits are different. I've been getting about the same tank average as you, close to 30mpg, but my friend, who I bought the car from, was a lead foot and did a lot more city driving than I do. He said he saw closer to 24mpg average.

It's calculated based upon the last 500 miles of your driving. That means it's constantly changing, but you would have to put in 500 miles of high MPG driving to clear out any city or traffic driving that may have affected the average.
