ML CD player frozen, radio does not pick up stations, tape deck works fine
Hi all,
I'm new on this forum as I just bought a 2006 Lexus RX350.
Car drives beautifully although there seems to be a problem with the Mark Levinson CD player.
When you select the CD option it shows that there is a number of cd's in there but its frozen. It shows the track number and at what point its frozen. Wont eject, wont forward or do anything at all. Cant hear any sound and it doesnt sound like the cd player is doing anything. WHen you try to eject nothing happens, no sound like its attempting to eject, nothing at all.
When you select the radio option it doesn't seem to pick up any stations, again no sound.
At first I thought it might be the amp but this morning I put a tape in and it worked fine.
Everything else such as bluetooth and nav works fine.
I have tried the different suggestions on this site such as banging on the side, disconnecting battery, pressing numerous buttons at once. Nothing I have tried has made a difference at all.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum, first of all. I hope you find as helpful as I have (very helpful).
How long did you disconnect the battery for?
ebay, get a used CD player. pretty straight forward to install.
