Can I use Prestone Dex-Cool Extended Life antifreeze?

You probably could, but most of us stick with Toyota Red or Pink coolant.

I know, but I bought the Prestone coolant for the Jag and it's red color also.

the orange dex cool, zerex G-05 orange stuff is what is in mine, 2005, 164k... I have never used toyota coolant.

Antifreeze has different chemical compositions depending on the type of antifreeze used. Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) antifreeze can be either ethylene glycol (EG) or propylene glycol (PG). Organic Acid Technology (OAT) antifreeze is primarily ethylene glycol (EG) based. Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) antifreeze is a combination of Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) and Organic Acid Technology (OAT).

Antifreeze colors include red, orange, yellow, pink, blue and green. Different colored antifreeze is used to identify the type of antifreeze being used.
Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) antifreezes are green in color.
Organic Acid Technology (OAT) antifreezes are orange, red, green, pink or blue.
Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) antifreezes are orange or yellow in color.

My both Lexus stick with Toyota Red Long life Coolant [need 50/50] w/ 50K km interval change, but RX330 radiator one side got leaking and replaced at around 150K km.
