There is a difference between "On" & "Flashing" if it is just on it translates to: you disactivated the AFS system, if it is flashing: it translates to a defect in the AFS system.
If there is a defect, the only way is to scan the sensor with a high end Lexus friendly scanner or replace the sensor & hope that resolves the issue.

Then I suppose your RX is equipped with the discharge headlights with a different warning light on, you would need to check under the RX near the rear passenger tire, that is where the sensor is located for AFS, probably have the same sensor for the auto leveling feature, have it checked for defects with a scanner. Apparently RXs with AFS do not have that warning light, at least I did not not see one at all at start up.
