HID AFS to Halogen
Hey guys, actually a long time member here.. can't get into my account for some reason so had to make a new one.
I'm about to go purchase an 04 rx330 supposedly with the hid afs system. One of the headlamps is broken and I'm not even sure the bulb even works. Anyway, I'd like to know if I can purchase two regular halogen lamps and wire this up somehow. Just a temporary fix until I can manage to get these headlamps. If anyone has any other suggestions also, please chime in.
Thank you.

I didn't catch that the HIDs have an auto focus feature (AFS). My lenses are clouded over, so I just ordered used headlight lenses on ebay. I personally wouldn't let go of factory HID head lamps to go back to halogen, but that's me.

AFS stands for Adaptive Front-Lighting System. It was an option on HID-equipped models, so not all HID RXs have it. The low beams can change angle to help illuminate ahead of the vehicle when turning.
